What is Tower?

Tower is your trusty companion that quickly visualizes important metrics about your data for you. Our AI-powered automated data visualization solution helps you gain actionable insights using self-service dashboards.

How does Tower work?

Using Tower is as easy as pointing it to the right data source and letting it do all the magic. It understands your data, extracts insights and selects the best possible charts to highlight important metrics.

What can Tower do?

Tower can do a variety of things:

  • Generate visualizations
  • Give you insights about your data on chat
  • Filter data
  • Modify the data for the charts:
    • Append columns
    • Create new columns (say, summing values from two columns)
    • Rename columns
  • Export charts

How is Tower different than other visualization tools?

Tower was born out of a need to rapidly generate and iterate on charts for executives. This required thinking out of the box and leveraging the best in AI tech. Analytics dashboards should not be standalone and static but embedded and actionable. Our vision is to have true control-tower style analytics for executives and managers.

Here are some key features of Tower:

  • GenAI-first automated reporting: Tower was built from the ground up with GenAI in mind. Tower generates reports automatically.
  • No need to learn complex formulae: Chat with your data. No need to memorize the workings of complex functions.
  • Chat to change: Instead of navigating through a maze of UI menus, you can simply chat with your charts to change them. Don’t like the color or want to switch columns? Just chat!

Can I customize my dashboard views?

Yes! Tower’s dashboards are fully customizable, enabling tailored data views and insights specific to your business needs. Just chat with your charts. It is easy!

What data sources can I connect to?

Tower supports different data sources depending on your plan:

Professional Plan ($100/user/month):

  • Limited selection of popular connectors (~11 sources)
  • Excel, CSV, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • HubSpot, Airtable, Snowflake, Databricks, Tally Prime

Enterprise Plan (Custom pricing):

  • 700+ data connectors including all Professional connectors
  • Industry-specific systems and legacy databases
  • Custom connector development with priority support
  • REST APIs, SOAP services, and custom integrations

Performance & Usage

How much time does it take to generate a report?

It depends on the size of your dataset.

Smaller datasets are typically generated within 5 minutes. Larger datasets take longer. While you’re waiting for the dashboard to generate on the full dataset, Tower also generates a dashboard on a small amount of your data so you can preview it.

However, if the report takes too long to generate, please check the data for any issues. We recommend trying with a smaller dataset if you face any issues and then progressively increase the quantity of rows and columns.

What are the Edit and View modes? Why is the data different in each mode?

The View mode is for viewing the generated report on the complete dataset. The Edit mode is for editing the report on a small amount of the data. This is done to make sure you can quickly preview your changes. You need to make the changes permanent by clicking Apply in Edit mode. Tower will then re-generate the chart with your modifications.

How many reports can I create using a single data source?

For the limited-time free version, you can create 20 reports per dataset.

Features & Capabilities

I want a Gantt chart. Can Tower generate that?

We provide a handful of useful commonly-used charts out-of-the-box. We plan on adding support for more charts. If you have a specific requirement, please feel free to get in touch.

Pricing & Enterprise

Is Tower free? Can I use it in enterprise environments?

Tower offers a free Explore plan that lets you view and interact with all public dashboards - perfect for experiencing Tower’s AI capabilities. To create your own dashboards and connect data sources, you’ll need a paid subscription:

Plans:

  • Explore (Free): View public dashboards only, no credit card required
  • Professional ($100/user/month): Limited data connectors, up to 100 dashboards
  • Enterprise (Custom pricing): 700+ connectors, unlimited dashboards, advanced features

Free Trials & Evaluation:

  • We occasionally run limited-time free trials of Professional features
  • Qualified enterprises may receive extended evaluation periods to test Tower
  • Check our pricing page for current offers

We use robust enterprise-grade cloud solutions from Microsoft and Google to keep your data safe and secure. Our AI components are also designed to minimize access to your data. We don’t sell your data to third parties either. Stay assured!
